Aspirations to grow? These once-small businesses use NetSuite

NetSuite may be a new name to you because historically the cloud software company has always focused its efforts on software development, rather than on marketing. However, some of their customers will certainly not be new to you.
The company behind THAT dress, Roman Originals has been in the spotlight of late but take a look below to find out some of the biggest names and up and coming brands who are using NetSuite, and why.

Last November NetSuite announced that Shazam, producer of one of the most downloaded apps of all time, implemented NetSuite to replace its legacy financial systems. NetSuite OneWorld allows the media engagement company to run its core financial processes – including consolidation across its subsidiaries in the UK, US and Australia, multi-currency purchasing, revenue recognition, and multinational tax compliance – all within a single unified software system.

Another name you’re sure to have heard of is the deal-of-the-day website, Groupon. They became a NetSuite OneWorld customer back in 2011 because they needed a system to help them power their business expansion in key international markets. Groupon’s rapid growth brought bargains to millions, but in the process, the company had been unable to find an effective financial infrastructure to support this. NetSuite OneWorld provided a solution to this problem.

One well-known brand who opted for NetSuite’s business management solution is GoPro, the high-definition personal camera manufacturer, often used in extreme-action video photography. The company was struggling with a combination of outsourcing and fragmented in-house business software which prevented it from taking advantage of market opportunities. Since replacing QuickBooks and Salesforce with NetSuite OneWorld, GoPro has grown revenue by 300% year-over-year.

You may have heard of Hailo, the company behind the famous taxi smartphone app that allows users to order a taxi in two taps, but did you know that they are also a NetSuite customer? They moved from Sage Line 50 to NetSuite OneWorld in 2013 to consolidate all of their global accounting systems across seven subsidiaries onto a single platform. With NetSuite OneWorld, Hailo can easily manage financial consolidation, multi-currency, reporting, multi-language and multi-taxation.

Fat Face

Fat Face, the fast-growing lifestyle clothing and accessories retailer is leveraging NetSuite’s responsive web design eCommerce solution to deliver a digital shopping experience to its customers across all channels and geographies. NetSuite’s responsive platform allows Fat Face to provide its customers with a consistent and seamless online shopping experience, regardless of the device they’re using, and capitalise on the rapid growth in mobile and tablet commerce. During the five week period between 1st December 2014 and 3rd January 2015, Fat Face achieved sales growth of 25% compared to the previous year.
Other well-known customers of NetSuite’s eCommerce solution include Tesco F&F Clothing,, Laura Ashley and TK Maxx.
