About The Client
A private equity formed in June 2016 and now with more than 1,500 employees. Growing strongly, both organically and by acquisition.
Their key characteristic is a disruptive approach to engaging customers differently, a tag line Aptos has prominently adopted Aptos’ Singular Commerce Platform unifies the entire retail enterprise to enable over 1,000 retail brands to deliver the informed, empowered and seamless omni-channel shopping experiences that their customers demand — no matter where, when or how they shop.
Project Challenges
In late 2017 Aptos acquired TXT Retail, a leading provider of end-to-end merchandise lifecycle management solutions for the apparel, luxury, speciality and general retail sectors. Aptos was already running NetSuite, whilst TXT Retail used SAP.
The project involved migrating all of the TXT Retail businesses from SAP to NetSuite, as well as implementing OneWorld across all of Aptos which included 40 countries and 10 different legal entities. It was a complex project which needed to deliver in a very tight timescale – 6 months- and also included a number of optimisations in the existing NetSuite operation, including the integrations with NetSuite OpenAir and Salesforce.
Project Solution
Aptos decided to look for an independent NetSuite Partner to implement OneWorld.
“The partner selection process included deep research into a number of resellers resulting in 3 finalists of which NoBlue was the most responsive by far.”
Andrew Evans – Aptos Head of Cloud Operations
NetSuite is used mostly for Financials, Supply Chain and Reseller Management.
Implementation has been completed in several countries: UK, France, Italy, Germany, USA, Canada and Australia and in smaller entities in Asia and North America
Some further optimisations are being implemented, after which the client expects to achieve cost efficiencies with the implementation of a single, business consistent system and automation, as well as moving to a Global Service Centre model that will involve intercompany transactions, as well as those which are country-specific.
“There were some problems during implementation and I would say NoBlue solved them efficiently and correctly. The timescale was very tight and NoBlue did a very good job helping support us and dealing with the problems. They have proved to be a trusted partner with strong credibility.”
